With the purpose of applying classroom material to the K-12 classroom, Ormrod (2005) provided four detailed examples of student and teacher artifacts (i.e., using actual examples of student’s work and teacher’s comments of student) to be used as case studies. For example, some topics include learning strategies, metacognition, self-regulation, motivation, instructional strategies, and how to teach social studies.
