Main -> How to add content to ToPIX
Ready to add your content? Navigate to the page where you think your content best fits, then follow these instructions.
Let's say that you come across a good New York Times article related to developmental psychology. Under "in the news" click on "development." Click the edit tab directly above the page title.
If you're a member of ToPIX and haven't logged in, you'll be asked to log in here.
If you're not a member of ToPIX, you'll be asked if you'd like to become a member. Since the ToPIX editor has to manually approve you, it may take a little while for approval to be granted. Your patience is appreciated!
Then immediately under the double horizontal bars, add the title of the article.
Next, highlight the title of the article so you can link to it.
In the toolbar, click the hyperlink icon:
That will call up this screen:
Link type: Use the drop down menu to select “URL”
URL: Paste in the URL of the article.
Click OK.
Now save the page. Click the save button at the bottom of the page or CTRL-S.
This will take you back to view mode. That's it!
